It's a fluid universe that has no boundries, limitations and may have it's own type of intelligence as a collective.
For any one person or group to say they have the monopoly on truth is delusional. They have to be. Just ask any Joe Shmo on the street that has a lick of sense, and they'll agree that nothing is certain, nothing is written in stone, and there are a million gray areas because of Entropy. Not even inanimate objects stay the same. Every second that passes, degradation at micro-second stages occur in objects and living beings. There are no absolutes.
I can't believe in today's world of exponential growth in Scientific breakthroughs and Technology, there are literally billions of folks around the world still living with a stone age mentality.

would you like to tell me what was the turning of your "opinion" about this, I.E., what God "didn't do" in your life?
RL was probably reading your posts before he was a member in the lurk mode. Then he said to himself, this guy broke the camel's back. Now i know the true meaning of the word "Delusion".
Ghandi once said..."I would probably be a Christian, If it wasn't for Christians".
I appologize for answering your question that was meant for RL, but i just couldn't help it.
Like I've said before and I'll say it till the end of my life. My grandmother is about 105 or 106 years old. She's been a devout Muslim for her whole life. She faces the east 5 times a day to pray long prayers.....every single day. She bore 16 children and did everything she could do to do good in this world. She is the most free spirited and awe inspiring individual in my whole family. I respect her wisdom, and despite the fact that I don't subscribe to any religion, her belief in a religion was never forced on anyone. She lives a life that revolves around nothing less than total love.
But because Jesus wasn't her savior, according to you, she's gonna burn in some delusional Hell fire and gnash her teeth for eternity. To me, that's a red flag for two initial items. One.........A merciful God would've thought about those kinds of delicate circumstances and wouldn't have made the rules you portray as TRUTH...............Secondly...........Because of those silly rules that would torture a soul for eternity because they just weren't born in the right part of the world, God simply doesn't exist, because of redflag number One........It's a circle.....
If your dear old grandma read some of your post joker she'd probably wash your mouth out with soap..God bless her...Now it's off to beddy byes once again..GOOD LUCK joker you need it bad!!..

You're right....she probably would and thanx for your blessings to her. But that aspect of her has nothing to do with the subject i was commenting on to Visiondude's question to RL.
I won't allow you to take the point I was making to Vision out of context. You're good at doing that.
Your poor attempts at wit is shallow and unrehearsed.

I don't need luck. Luck is only for people who don't realize that choas can be manipulated since the whole universe is intertwined, and fluid. Quantum reality demands it's observers to create their own outcomes, because If it weren't for the observers, there would be no one to observe anything, therefore, the universe wouldn't even exist.
The inanimate universe created living beings so it can look in on itself......

pretty interesting joker that "all of a sudden" you come alive and have an "opinion" on something that is opposite of what you believe in, yet you sustain feighned "memory loss" when it comes to backing up an assertion you made first.
i don't have a problem with you remianing at the polar opposite of the room idealogical wise, but from your inception at LP you have been a rude / trouble causing / purposeful without conscience -----> jerk .........to those with whom you "disagree", whenever your twisted version of human relations tells you to.
it's never a respectful back and forth with you, it's some angst induced condescention into joker's ever changing world of "intellectualschizm".
not only don't you possess self control joker, you have zero control on your personal on / off switch.
first you say "i am done with you"......and "i don't HAVE to give you an answer", etc. (or some such non sensical babble)
then, whenever it suits your multiple personality not nearly in order, it's off to joker vebal rampage land.
be that as it may, it's your life to be "not so envied"
i just checked, and there are actually over 100,000 members at LP.
my first " ballpark/recollection" was about 20,000 (thus my 20,000 reference).
say what you will joker, but being king of the quantum physics speeding bullet train to jerk land in the population of over 100,000 people........if you don't get it after that fact, chances are a guy like you never will
"pimples" are the least of your worries.
BTW; since you asserted.....i DON'T make the rules up. God does. if you don't like the rules on any arena of life, then take it up with Him before you die. if you think you are above the rules, or not subject to thier eventuality, then you are more "out there" than even the 100,000+ "fact" indicates
there isn't a human being ever born who after death walked up to God and argued with him and won, thereby "changing the standards"

Stay away from the Quantum soup at Denny's.
Hardly any meat in it.
Too salty.
I sent it back.
Also I would like to go on record as recommending bananas from Honduras over those from Costa Rica.
I've had both recently and the Honduran bananas were far superior. I don't know if pumpi has anything to do with that but I would like to thank him if he does. Gracias mi amigo. Si se puede. Donde esta el cuarto de bano? Ay Caramba! Deprisa, mi amigo, deprisa!

I had a bowl of that the other day, The trick is to time you spooning. The meat is there it just fades
in and out of existance. Here is a little tip if you ever try it again. Chew very slowly when eating the
meat because it can fade out even after it leaves the bowl, Almost bit my toung off.
Thanks for the banana tip, I just finished off the last batch which was from Costa Rica and will buy Honduras

"The inanimate universe created living beings so it can look in on itself......"
assaulting the english language with high falutin words that make ZERO sense of any kind when strung together in the comic sans font doesn't make it true.
in fact, it's a downright cause for intellectual COMMON SENSE parallel addition, to see if your idealogy really "adds up".
let's see...
"inanimate" + "created living beings" + "so it can look in on itself"?
WHAT ?
a new scientific breakthrough, where inanimate objects can create something. ummmm
it shows a schizophrenic intellectual mosaic, but nothing symbiotic and congruent in it's attempted construction.
in that statement alone, it reveals your inner personal wrestling match with "God the creator", and the ......"now, watch as i try and reduce God into something impersonal, so He can't have authority over my life" ------> manuever.

hypothesizing is one thing when looking FOR the truth, but desperation isn't a cement in any ideaology
let's play this out.......according to your "hypothesis", you "thunk" the earth stopped rotating on it's axis in order for it to be classified "inanimate" for a period of scientific justification, and then it (the earth with it's emergency brake on) decided (fading in and out of "inanimate") to spit out a glob of protein on the beach in malibu, and thuse were born bone headed celebrities to which we as a species fawn after their every move.
now, that parallels your spoken thoughts about our origin of the species, right?
did i put into words most eloquently what you were trying to say, comic sans wise?

Vision
The works were a means to show that I was not the sunday morning type. Paul once felt the need
to show from his past devotion to the faith and I was just doing the same thing. I just done that which
was commanded of me being a doer and not a hearer. None of the works added anything to me as
I am the most unprofitable of all. It was my devotion that lead me to my current state of beliefe. The
camp-meeting thing was just a way of listing the many faiths that I have visited. I don't claim any
demonotion, I just read the bible and followed it's teachings because it was my duty. Jesus is mentioned
as the word of God and why call him lord if you don't follow what he said. My main problem with the so call
church is that they seem to take the word and adapt it to fit what they want to believe. I once heard a
preacher teaching people how to mannage money as a sermon. Jesus taught not to be concerned
about what we need because His havenly Father knows or needs and would provide. This alone was meant
to free people up for service. What if you were in the millitary but had to provide your own food / shelter
clothing, guns, ammo, transportation. You would not have much time to do the work of a soldier. 180,000
new christians are added to the faith each day in the world but for all this the world keeps getting worse
and worse and in my opinion is a product of what is being taught. The word teaches that to be great
you must become a servant and is also the only teaching Jesus made on how to increase faith. The only
works listed within the bible that adds anything to the person is to beleive in God and his Son whom he
sent. The true Teachings of the bible could change the world but they are not followed. Think about what
would happen if everyone cared as much for everyone else as themselves. The bible has some very good
teachings that would be very easy for me to accept even if God does not exist. I know very little about
anything and the more I learn the more I feel I don't know anything. I think that the bible is a collection
of writtings that were assembled into a book writtten by people that believed what they wrote. When
anyone writes something down in a public forum it will always come under attack be it God, aliens, UFO's
evolution or even the lottery. Matters of faith are often the hardest to defend. I read jokers many post
pertaining to number selection and am often amazed with his results. Some don't pan out for him but
some do and the trick to lottery selection is to spot a trend and play it out. Many times they don't run
for ever and won't stand up to a backtest using many draws but what he finds many times in terms of
playing the lottery looks very promising. Some won't stand up for anything and take the easy way which
has it's benifits but some people have to take the roads not traveled. I know you are very passionate
about your beliefs but so is Joker. And as for me, I am still looking for something I havent been able to
find. Here, many are condemed for trying to help others, we make mistakes from time to time but we try.
and is that not what it's all about.
RL
the 180 degree difference is joker is a disrespectful jerk to those with whom he disagree's, especially to those of faith.
joker actively hunts those people and opportunities and instead of a respectful "back and forth" engagement, joker descends into condescension land, even cussing people out.
part of my opposing jokers nastiness is setting the tone with him that he is not ever going to run free in here unopposed when it comes to being disrespecful about another persons "faith".
to be perfectly frank, i don't care if i got asked to leave, i cannot sit there and watch as he verbally assaults people like that.
you have a search feature, and that member search feature will tell you i don't hunt people who believe opposite of what i believe. i share my opinion, and that's what usually leads to a defense.
if i was a "hunter", my fingers would bleedwith the built in opportunities i would have here at LP
that member search feature will also reveal how many run in's joker stirs up because he is missing self control DNA
i don't mind defending when i have to, it's the least i can do in comparison to what the living God has done for me.
i appreciate your candor, and i whole heartedly agree, it's the "doer" and the "servant" mentality that stamps a believer as a follower.
what you never got around to, and is increasingly more obvious the farther we go along, is what event (or series of events) that precluded your "i am not sure about this anymore"?.
for God to be real, and His standards just and true, there has to be something where your emotions or circumstances were allowed to overtake the facts.
i have a friend, one with whom no one would have guessed he would have turned his back on Christ.
solid as they come.......except he has a DAILY choice to believe / trust the facts over you know what, just like everyone else.
we are ALL........one choice away from alot of things. good AND bad
until he met a woman who wispered in his ear that she would do to him, what his wife (apparently) wouldn't do.
that one choice to pick "emotions" over facts sent his life into a still spirialing tilt-a-whirl of justification nation.
he now denys Christ. not because Christ "isn't real", but because he wants it not to be true, so he can play.
with God being real, and His standards true and everlasting, either a person traded emotions / circumstances FOR truth, or is in the middle of justification wasteland.
there is never a point where Jesus Christ isn't who He claimed to be, or who His eyewitnesses said He was.
never
with that in mind, unless you don't want public spillage (which i understand), what was your "intersection"?
it's not like this is something you have to explain to me anyway.
the truth is, if it is ultimate truth you seek, i gave you an avenue back, or certainly one for others that are piggy-backing your experience, that one picks truth / facts over circumstances and emotions.
God resides at the intersection of truth and facts.
thru all circumstances and emotions (not just the ones i "like"), i CHOOSE to trust the architect of that intersection.

You grandmother sounds to me like a very good person and I would like to add my thoughts.
Jesus was the word of God in the flesh. I believe from your discription of her that she has
followed the true word of God to flawlessness. If Jesus was the Word of God and one follows
this "Word" as your Grandmother seems to have done, which the bible says is written in the hearts
of everyone then she has accepted "the Word" as lord. In my humble opinion your grandmother
has nothing to worrie about. What we call ourselves means nothing, how we live or lives does.
I think I would trade everything I have to be like your Grandmother, but as of yet I havent had
any one take me up on it.
"For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."
"Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name
have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?"
"And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

I don't make the rules, and more importantly, religions don't make the rules either. But what free thinkers have is an edge because they have open minds to the fluid universe, whereas you people are fixed for eternity. Nothing changes except for the same old tired blabber from books that were written by men who didn't know diddly squat about the universe around them.
Quote..."The moon hangeth upon nothing"...Scribblings from the Bible from a man who knew nothing about how the universe works, so he makes up nonsense supposedly given to him by God to explain everything. That example is just one of thousands created by men to control humans.
All those nonsensical rules by religion is why we have wars around this world. People killing themselves left and right in the name of religion. Fighting over who's God is better than the other.
If you can't see those red flags, then there is no hope for you.

Excuse me Mr. know-it-all, but i was paraphrasing something I heard. Yes, there may be a God out there, but nothing even remotely close to the made up ones by religions.
The universe can create beings. Given Billions of years, anything can happen.
The reason you can't understand this is becuase you've limited your mind by allowing it to be brainwashed by old doctrines that are outdated and impractical today. It's almost 2011 dude. Wake up!
