As for that guy, even he said something along the lines of "someone was going to win big eventually, I'm just glad it was me." He was betting 100,000 dollars a hand, meaning he was up 50 units when he was done. This could easily have been chance, but considereing that giant bet, the House probably allowed very lenient rules, probably a House Edge as low as .05%. Even then, if he used an advanced card counting system, and changed strategy acording to it, HE actually could have gained the advantage, and beaten the house that way, but that would take a real math genius. The only reason I'd mention that possibility is because he apparently had a horse betting prediction software which he wrote making a lot of money for him, which means he obviously was at very least good at math.
I get what you're saying about the starting point. If someone wants to play a system the most likely place they'll start is past draws. That doesn't mean they're given an advantage is the only point I'm trying to make. They don't get a disadvantage either, though. They can craft their play to what how they have fun, which is great. That's why I'll use systems sometimes, but only really wheels and things like that for me.

How much smarter do you think you are than the typical 5 year old, or even 8 or 10 year old? You're 19 and I'm 47. I've got 29 years on you, so i can't even go back that far enough for a comparison between you and someone younger than you.
It's really not comparable. Children's brains are still growing, they're still expanding their capability to understand the world around them. I'm not saying that stops so suddenly, but by the time you're around 21, your brain is done growing so rapidly. That doesn't mean you are incapable of learning, or that you stop learning from experience - but it means that you don't absorb information anywhere near the rate children do. You're mind doesn't expand at the same rate anymore. As you get older, your habits, and often, your opinions become so ingrained that you're unwilling to change them.
It's not comparable because as you get older, your brain actually starts getting LESS bright. I'm not saying you're at that age - but the point is that you're capability to learn new concepts deteriates the older you get. So I'm nowhere near there - but to say that a 40 year old is 10 years smarter than a 30 year old or something like that... well that's plain dumb. Go ahead and tell Ridge his analogy (which wasn't even an analogy, btw) suck, because yours are plain nonsense.
It shows your ignorance. Somebodies age isn't a clear cut indicator of intellegence, especially when it comes to specific subjects. My brother is graduating with a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering. He's 21. But I suppose you're 26 years smarter than him at that subject, too, Joker, because age is a clear cut indication of intellegence on every subject, according to your logic, my brother cannot know more than you since he's younger, you're smarter.
Obviously you've had MORE experiences, and I would know MUCH less about, say, military stuff than you. That doesn't mean I'm clueless, or that I attemt to change the "speed of light" like you so "smartly" put it, with all that, you know, experience you got over me.
Sorry I tried to explain that the House Edge in roulette is the same no matter what bet you make. I must be stupid to figure out the simple formula to calculate House Edge. Oh and sorry I tried to tell you how not to be a jack*** when it comes to religious issues, something I think someone as "experienced" and "street smart" as yourself should know. I was totally wrong

LMFAO you make a shotty nonsense arguement about being smarter than me because of age, and then you call me a moron. I've also seen you make fun of other people that are older than you. I guess 47 is that magic age, until next year, then it'll be 48, and then 49 and so on.
You're really an idiot. You say you've been studying roulette since I was in diapers. Well that WHOLE time, you haven't found the system that works, but you still believe in all these systems. So for the past 19 years, you've failed at every system - and yet you think the ones that do work you just aren't smart enough to understand.
That's what I call insanity. Like I said, have fun with your ingrained views that will never change based on evidence. I believe what I believe based on physical evidence, and tests done by experts. You believe a text book that only costed you 2500ish dollars and has a "3 year learning curve".
