Oldghost/MrGray, someone was going to contact Lotto and get winning roll numbers for few games...I am not sure who is that...Did you/they get the roll numbers for winning tickets (Grand Prizes) from FL Lotto??? Did they charge any fee for retrieving this information??

I got stuck in traffic and ventured down Archer Rd. Stopped at the BP on Archer and the Kanapha Station plaza. I thought they had 200MS but he only had 50X. I asked the roll number and it was in the 620's. Didn't feel like buying it.
Anybody been to AK recently? Did someone scoop up the low 50X rolls?

I completed one 50x book (roll no. 619325) and got just $250 back!!! This is the worst returns from 50x for me!!!
I went through 3 different stores in S. Florida and found 50x game activated in display (roll no.s 542xxx,451xxx,568xxx) ... I am not sure which one has more probability in terms of Grand Prize...any feedback?

kgrillz, your post made me chuckle and was comforting to read. Sorry to hear about your rough luck lately. Maybe you should take a break as well, or come up with a system. I need to follow a system of playing once every few weeks since I can't control my habits on a regular basis (and possibly need to pay all bills and put aside maybe only $100 a month for lotto). Losing hundreds/thousands of dollars is painful, and something we can't sustain.
I have experience in the 2nd chance drawing, and was an alternate winner for the Flamingo one. We had someone win the Second Chance drawing (Loneranger I think?).
Dracos, I've been using I believe it was Skeptic's friend's (the one who hit 500k I think?) technique of just one or two small tickets (5 or ten dollar tickets) per day. Helps to limit the damage.. Also remember the buy and stash for a week technique. That way you perhaps won't buy again for the rest of the week because you know you already have some waiting to scratch... Just some thoughts that may help..
Or... Forget scratch offs for awhile and practice up on optimal "Ultimate Texas Holdem" table game play here:
...then go play at Derby Lane or Tampa Bay Downs and run a little better than average for a few hours with $5 min bets and make a couple of hundred bucks... :) it's actually a pretty fun table game, and learning optimal play is super easy and quite intuitive.. (You'll see everyone else playing super bad and giving up probably 10-20% edge to the house when it should really only be a -2% EV game if playing optimally.. So just run a little bit good and leave when you are up; also never ever play the trips bet)
anyway.. Enough of the off topic before I get slapped... :)

As I mentioned in an earlier post, here are my wins from last week. The $200 and $500 wins were from the same Super Millions roll. Also, I spoke with the owner of AK's and he mentioned that someone (a resident of Gainesville) purchased all of his $200MS rolls. However, he still has 50X rolls. If no top prize is claimed in $200MS in the next week, it is safe to assume Adam dodged a bullet of sorts...even though the experience was awful.
@Adam - there are resources online that give advice on how to handle family situations where one person comes into money (e.g., inheritance, lottery, etc.) and has family members expecting a cut. As you already have done, you should set a firm amount that you are willing to give and let them know that is it (no further requests when that money is spent). Mr. Gray had a good idea and I am assuming you explained to them that a $2M win on the ticket does not translate into $2M in the bank. After the lump sum and taxes, you end up with less than 50% of the advertised win - and that is without you spending some on yourself. Be prepared to exercise a little bit of tough love - even if you give them $100K each, they will come back and ask for more if they are not financially responsible. You don't want to end up with the lotto curse.

That $10 Monopoly win is especially impressive.
Out of curiosity, what kinds of book #s are you seeing on Super Millions? Just wondering where they're at in other parts of the state right now.

Based on the previous "assessment" there should be winners around 541,000 566,000 and 616,000. That of course assumes none have been won in those ranges yet and also assumes that the logic being used is accurate and correct. So, those 542xxx and 568xxx rolls you mentioned are in the general area that you'd want. Don't know about the 451xxx roll, not enough winning ticket's book numbers are known.

Shety Lotto
what up folk's
there was just about a full deck of 10 dollar holiday down at the corner store yesterday , I went in today it was gone and there was nothing there in its place, so much for integrity.
Perhaps one of the kings ransom jackpots was in that other store down the street that caught on fire . who knows , I do know this if it was down there Im sure they wont reprint and put it back out in circulation.
@ Sunny - I saw your post earlier, and just wanted to respond to it because I think you bring up an excellent point about game manipulation/distribution bias. I know in order to get accredited, FL Lottery is seeking player contact/feedback. This is an example of game manipulation at its finest. I've seen many $10 Holiday gifts "disappearing", some cases where lottery retailers have told me "the rep came and took them even though I wanted to keep it". Even EMTAdam's jackpot ticket was almost taken away before he could find it, he mentioned that the lotto rep tried to clear the stock at the store he purchased the jackpot ticket but that the clerk insisted on keeping it for his regular (him). In Gainesville, FL AK Kwik still has about 20 books of $10 Holiday Gifts. 10 Books are under the 60k book range. The last prize could still be out there. I agree with you that they wont reprint any books damaged in a fire.
@ Pendingsector - Thanks for the advice. I think when I start playing again in September, I'll start off with the one a day (and maybe try a couple draw games). Once I can build up my self control, then I'll try the stash method. I live in Gainesville now, and I can't believe the Publix I go to is the one where the woman hit the $10m Fortune prize in April. Today is day 2 of no scratchoffs for me, and my goal is to go at least two months without buying a single ticket.
@ Steeler - Old Ghost has provided instant liability reports for Escape to Margaritaville, and when he posted about it about 51% of the tickets were sold if my memory serves me correct. Essentially, the amount of it remaining is likely comparable to other "newer" $5 games like $5 Flamingo. It is an underselling ticket, with 5/10 prizes remaining. I'd assume most of those jackpots are out there, and I think this game is extremely overdue personally.

So you all want to be annoyed at FL Lotto more? Check out the lottery websites for some other states. You'll find quite a few of them (only checked a few) provide full inventory information on the tickets, how many prizes left at any level. I believe I saw at least one that showed the % sold too. And these are lotteries which bring in less that Florida.
Oh, and one you will all love is Texas. They have an online locator for scratch off tickets. Put in city or zip code, pick the ticket, and it'll tell you all locations that have it. Florida Lottery needs to be kicked in the ass so they're not way behind other states, states with smaller budgets.

Yeah, Texas is nice. I believe someone also mentioned they publish book #s of the winners.
North Carolina is pretty good too. Their version of remaining prizes is per game and basically like having an Instant Liability report (sans %sold), and unlike the lazy/corrupt folks at the Florida Lottery who update the remaining prizes (and winners reports) manually and take forever (or just forget) to do it, this one is updated daily from their back-end.
This is for one of their $20 games.

This table is updated daily and shows prizes that have not been claimed through Jul 13, 2016.

Also, having spent two decades developing enterprise systems, I can say that considering they already have the data, it would be trivially easy, and cheap, for the FL Lottery to make the Instant Liability reports live and accessible online along with the same sort of ticket/store search Texas has. They have the back-end in place already (or they wouldn't be able to get that information themselves), and it's public information (or we wouldn't be able to get it from them by request), so the only reason not to do it is to maintain the current system which allows them to just claim negligence on the part of some lowly office worker while misleading the public about the ongoing availability of prizes.
This is also bridges another discussion we've had in the past about how simple it would be for them to remove prizes from the pools when they destroy tickets, but there's no evidence of that either. They love to brag about how much money they're bringing in for the chil'ren but do as little as possible to support the players that pay for it all.

@ Oldghost/MrGray - Couldn't have said it better myself.
Perhaps another reason they are sticking with an archaic system of manually updating top prizes is due to them trying to justify the existence of certain jobs/positions they have. Considering how large Florida Lottery is and the massive amount of revenue they bring in, it makes absolutely no sense that they are miles behind other lotteries which generate significantly lower revenue.
They claim the Accreditation team is seeking public feedback. Have any of you provided them with this feedback about how they could improve transparency in updating prizes, listing additional data on their website, and by not destroying/"indirectly"(or directly) manipulating jackpot tickets?
On another note...jokingly/seriously, does anyone think those individuals who keep posting their winning photos on the Twitter "work" for the Florida lottery? Lmao. That person who keeps posting thanking them for $50-$100 winners on Lucky 200k/yr for life seems awfully suspicious.

Re: Twitter
I know one of them is a previous jackpot winner (shared office pool on Lotto) who buys a lot of tickets, but there are others that just seem to be Lottery shills. Who else would make daily posts saying "Thank you Florida Lottery" and only post winning lottery tickets to their account (no other posts of any kind), all without ever mentioning the mountain of duds it takes to get all those hits? My money is on it being near-fraudulent, social-media-based marketing by the Lottery.
