Have you heard of DAPT? Domestic Asset Protection Trust. One of your Trustees will be in Nevada because that is the State that legally enforces this Trust by law. Find an excellent lawyer/attorney who knows all about this Trust.

If there is a state tax, the state where the ticket is sold deducts it from the winnings. There is no California state so there is no state tax deduction, but if a Oregon resident wins in California, the will pay up to 8% when the file their Oregon income tax. If a Nevada resident wins in California, there is no state tax.

It might workout ok. Lots of Californians retire to Nevada to take advantage of the no state income tax California doesn't try to gyp them on income tax even though the $$ was earned in Ca.

I do not care what mom does with her half of the jackpot but I am going to eat ribeye steaks medium well. Drink single barrel jack daniels and have visits to the nicest brothels of nevada. Fantasy sports wagering is more like raffles, horse racing betting, and tournament poker; the players are betting against the other players and not the house. Nevada has legal sports betting so it's obvious why they would ban fantasy betting. New York said it violates existing state law, but Fanduel and Draftking will appeal and already asked their over 600,000 NY players to send emails to the Attorney General.

That is why l buy ALL my tickets in neighboring Cities. If l am the winner, l am collecting my money through a Trust. I may even call the trust the Hot bunny Trust to keep nosy neighbors the press out of my business. If asked why the Hot Bunny Trust - my attorney could say that this winner was part owner of a B*****l in Nevada and has now been on the straight narrow. No one wants to dig into the past of a Brot...owner.
