not using the joker excuse highway, the 8 prophecies i said i would give.
i only included in these prophecies the component of the human element, the human element that was opposed to Jesus Christ, so joker cannot use the "it's interpretive/self fulfillment" excuse out of his on the fly bag of excuse tricks
i will be more than glad to fill in the blanks as to when these were written, and by whom.
recorded history. no man can alter it, or lie about it, without eventually being exposed for attempting to do so...
(1) born in bethelehem. not just "bethelehem", but a specific part of it (you cannot plan the place of your OWN birth)
(2) his body pierced. (by people who opposed him)
(3) spit upon (you cannot predict the human reactive emotion like that of someone you never met. a chronic "spitter", maybe. a stranger, no)
(4) gambled for his clothing (another reactive on the spot unpredictable human emotion by those who OPPOSED Christ)
(5) 39 stripes across his back (not 38, and not 40. 39. did the guy picked to lash Christ decide to stop at "39" because he wanted to help Christ "self fulfill"?)
(6) crucified between criminals (crucifixion wasn't always carried out in plural form. sometimes it was only one person.
how did there hapen to be "more than one" that day. maybe it's just coincedence
(7) plucked the hairs from his beard (what? who does that? and how is THAT human reactive emotion "predictable".
joker, when was the last time you heard of someone plucking someones beard while they were 'angry" at them?
self loathing does not count as an observed "event"
(8) darkness over the land during daylight hours (even carl sagan and george lucas on their best day couldn't pull that off in real life. God can though. and God could foretell He would pre-event.
for extra bonus points, God did it right at the exact same time the crucifixion was going down. prett good timing if you ask me.......pre AND post event.

i said 8, but i decided to throw in an extra one, because i replicated ones that were wrought at the hands that opposed Christ (sans the where he was born reference), and thought it would be appropriate to end tonights history lesson on a good note, and replicate one of the most telling of all fulfilled prophecies.
wrought by the hands of those who adored Him. who knew of the prophecies, and were awaiting His birth.
this is actually a 3fer deal, because it involves the fulfillment of 3 seperate prophecies at one time.
(1) where He was born
(2) exactly "when" He was born, because God said He would position a star over the saviors birth place AT THE TIME OF BIRTH, which guided the magi to the exact location, and not just a general "city grid".
(3) the came to WORSHIP Him, and bring him gifts, all 3 of which God prepredicted.
Matthew 2
1After Jesus was
born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi
[a] from the east came to Jerusalem
2and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?
We saw his star in the east[b] and
have come to worship him."
3When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ[c] was to be born. 5"In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:
6" 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for out of you will come a ruler
who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'[d]"
7Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."
9After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east[e] went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. 10When they saw the star, they were overjoyed. 11On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. 12And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.

sorry joker. pure unadulterated prercorded history trumps your wishful thinking "i don't WANT to believe it" heart.
just think.......that's only "8"
now you can proceed to lie about it, and say it either "isn't true", or "it's bronze age", or "it's illiterate crazy people high on opium"......or whatever lame excuse you want to manufacture.
i will be back tomorrow, and i will read all your "latest excuses" as to why you can't specifically deal with one thing at a time by refuting it
BTW, wishing it weren't "true", doesn't = a "refutation"
