If you ever win the MM/PB: Are you sure you Want to Start a Bussiness..
If anyone wins 10 million dollars, all they need to do is find some good investments --- say, you put a couple grand on specific stocks that yields a good 4-6 percent return. That's one, then you do another investment that yields another 4-6 percent return and then do several more investments like that. Do that, and you have yourself a nice dividend payout, monthly. Depending how much you invested, you could be getting $5,000 (or more) a month just from dividends, without touching the money you

Lawyers: What kind and why?
You don't have to get a lawyer but ... if your car bumps the back of another car at two m.p.h. and you're driving a clunker , the driver of the other car will give you a dirty look, and perhaps a one-finger wave, but they won't bother to report it. -- Same mishap , but you're driving a millionaire's car -- they will grab the back of their neck, fall out the drivers' side door and begin screaming and writhing on the ground, calling for a medic. A lawyer, beforehand, can make you less of a laws

Anonymity to avoid lawsuits - frivolous and otherwise
We have all done something stupid in our lives for which others would like to get some revenge - jilted lovers/spouses, friendships ended badly, bad bets, business deals gone bad, etc. Of course, some people might threaten to sue you for simply looking at them funny - and now you have money and are a clear target. Would you want to claim a major jackpot anonymously primarily because you fear a lawsuit or two or three (hundred!)?? Jack Whittaker was a target for sure - deserving or not.

Braking the law
I'm fairly sure that it would be considered fraud for them to do that and probably a host of other things too. Not to mention the PR nightmare it would cause and probably killing the lottery in that state for a good amount of time from the money lost in class-action lawsuits to people completely losing trust in it. I'm sure those involved go to prison, probably some minimum security country club . Look at the RNG fiasco in Tennessee and how it's has hurt sales (we all know the Lottery Director/P

Is it wrong to...?
As far as I see it if they give you the money to play it's theirs and not YOURS.........you are in a position of trust. Their ticket is THEIRS, but if I feel like running that playslip through again and spending MY own money on a ticket with the same numbers, I have every right to do so. Just like I posted before about how I copied my neighbor's QP. If that $2 QP won the jackpot, and she found out I too played a separate ticket with the same numbers, she wouldn't have a lawsuit. I spent my

Here Is The Proof Your Lottery, Mega Millions and Powerball is Cheating You
I don't know if this has been mentioned before but... I understand what you're saying about the pre tests messing up natural random, but how can you prove that the pre tests mess up natural random in the first place? I read something earlier about you starting a lawsuit...is that true?

Pearl found on Restaurant.
Maybe she had it in her pocket when they sat down to eat and knew such a story would make the headlines! It's not only rare, but the pearl itself is rare, purple in color. The article said he bit into something very hard. Hmm. Good thing it wasn't a piece of glass or the restaurant wouldn't be getting good press, but a lawsuit instead. LOL Pac, yuck-yuck-yuck. I like your clam puns. I really dig them.

POLL: Breaking the code
NumbaTuff wrote: I'm not trying to get carried away ( that just the "politic" of me ) but why is it always those rural towns that win the bigger jackpot. What state are you in because here in NY you'd almost never know that to be the case as most of the winners are almost always from the NYC area. In fact several years ago someone in the state actually filed a lawsuit over it and suddenly wouldn't you know it there started to be a few more big hits Upstate. It could have been a coincidence

computerized drawings set to take over the lottery in a few years?
Lottomike..... Don't you think the Tenn melt down example will have legs in these other states? The King has no longer has any clothes ! For sure in Tenn anyway. The state will never get back the confidence of the players there. I think that there is going to be a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT in Tenn just around the corner that will give these other STATES .......second thoughts.
