Why the fervor over a winner being a quick pick or self pick?
And here is another information that I've just found: When someone purchases a ticket with randomly-generated numbers those combination of numbers are subsequently removed from the database of numbers available to buy. Denis Daly (Loto-Quebec executive) said all the purchased random generated combinations are only put back into the system after three or four draws when the database is re-shuffled. Ifergan alleges in the documents that this mean that millions of possibly winning combinations

Excellent Money Advice
Hey Carbob, not sure when that 40% thing was but the standard is 3% - 10% of a player's contract. I think it's in the music and entertainment industry that agents and producers get really huge cuts. The NBA caps agent fees at 4% but I don't know when that cap started. If it was before or during Walker's career or after he retired. Sports agents can get a much bigger cut from endorsement contracts, but not from a player's actual salary. Walker's biggest endorsement contract was with Adidas for

You in a Pool that forbids anyone buying tickets " on the side"-However..
On occasions when the jackpot really goes into the $400 mil plus range- you decide- the heck with that, l want to get a few extra tickets and perhaps have the gf/spouse squirrel away the tickets in a safe place.. But your separate numbers HIT.. Do you : Call up the Pool captain and tell him/ her you broke the rules- tough .. Or Tell the Pool your stay with them has run its course- your won and thats that..See Ya! *** Do you see a lawsuit in the making?

TLC The Lottery Changed My Life...on again
LOL. Not really. Whenever I catch an old episode of TLCML that I haven't seen in a while, I do a Google search on the winners or their businesses. The guy didn't lose the bar because of a lawsuit, he and his partners had issues and he was sued by a third entity over a contract breach or something to that effect, so that dream he had didn't materialize. No idea what happened to the young fiancee he had and I can find no evidence that he went broke or bankrupt, just that the music bar did. I

Guess date/ time.
Looks like it has'nt effected it much if any, I may have guessed to soon, in order for my guess to be close, I need over 28,500 posts in less than 90 hours. The only way that would happen is if there were some controversial news like a lawsuit over a pool, or a huge JP hit, there are none right now. I think it was John Wayne that said: windage elevation. No ?

Who to Trust with a Trust??
I guess you'd have weigh the pros on cons. I don't think it's a matter of not being able to handle the money, it's a matter of protecting it from the vultures....You could easily tell everyone no but you tick off the wrong person they'll be gunning for a lawsuit, as frivolous as that may be. You could hire a lawyer to act as a trustee and have another lawyer oversee the trust and the trustee. If the lawyer does not fulfill their fiduciary responsibility, they face serious consequences. A

If you win the lotto, would you keep a secret from your family member.
Yes, I am not one of the lucky people who could win a lotto and NOT have to worry about family members. So as I've said before, No one except my husband will know. They don't know that I play so there's no fear of lawsuit and such. I plan to help my family but keep the source of the money to myself. It'll go something like this..... Here's a little someone for you, I came into a bit of money so I want to help you out a bit. don't ask where it came from, how much I GOT ( I won't

Cash Option vs Annuity
I have flip-flopped on this topic a few times. Originally, I was all for the Cash Option. Heck, I could invest it and possibly make more or the same - and I'm in charge. Then I thought about it. Personally, my spouse and I could use some discipline when it comes to money. Mostly our debt is from old medical bills, an occasional vacation, and that stupid hdtv that HAD to be bought when our tv died. So then I thought an annuity would be good for helping us budget. And yes, we would get a financ
